I'm not sure if this is the same dish as what's served at Bebek Bengil in Bali, but I liked it enough that I'll go back for it (304 Orchard Road #01-42, 6734-4787). Granted, thing that really made it work was the sambal, which was pleasantly oily and spicy without being sweet. The meat itself was lean, which not only meant that it was a bit dry, but also lacking the fatty taste that I associate with duck. Still, the crispy skin was fun to eat, and next time I want to try their smoky sengan version. Note to self: the gado-gado is rather sweet, so get the kangkong instead.
