Taratata Brasserie on Keong Saik Road, Singapore

Confit de canard, pommes de terre sarladaise

I've been wanting to come to this little wood-paneled brasserie for some time (35A Keong Saik Road, 6221-4506), and finally had a chance today to take advantage of a set lunch for Restaurant Week. Yep, I was happy with everything that I had, including that crispy and fat-laced duck confit, as well as a crab rillette starter and a lemon custard dessert. Now, admittedly I liked the food at Gaston down the street just a little more, but these guys get extra points for their quaint venue and attentive service.
