I was walking past
Loy Kee tonight when I figured that it'd be worth stepping in for a bite. I wasn't in the mood for carbs though, so I landed on this
beef stew, which the menu said was an heirloom recipe fusing British and Hainanese food. And yeah, I liked it. Some cuts of beef were more tender and fattier than others, but it was all very edible, along with things like bamboo shoots, carrots, and cuts of ginger inside.
