Eastern Wok at Junction Nine in Yishun, Singapore
I'm not sure if this is just another name for the BM Lanzhou Halal Ramen shop that was here previously, or if these guys took over and rebranded it (18 Yishun Avenue 9 #02-42, 9022-3306). Either way, there is a Lanzhou beef noodle shop up here in Yishun, and I'm glad that I made the trek up here to try it. Why? The noodles weren't overcooked, the chili oil was deliciously salty, and the broth was more delicate than Shejianjian's. The beef was too lean, but they sliced them paper-thin, which made them easy to eat. One doesn't get to choose noodle widths though, and the rest of the menu didn't look very interesting. But I'd be happy to eat this again.

Hi there, may I know whether the owner of BM Lanzhou is a Muslim?
