Porkypine on Telok Ayer Street in Singapore

Sándwich cubano

I don't eat cubanos frequently enough remember how they should taste, but this shop (112 Telok Ayer Street, 8874-2606) next door to Moosehead does one that was good enough for me to inhale in seconds. One particularly striking thing about the sandwich was how playfully acidic it was from the pickles, mustard, and sauce, which incidentally also laced it with a bit of heat. Apparently he also uses lard to make his mayonnaise, which perhaps explains why it was so tasty. It'd be good to hit up the shop in person after things open back up in a couple of weeks, as I think he does affordable cocktails too.
