I'm not sure if this is just a temporary thing, but
Podi & Poriyal started doing breakfast a month ago. And it was awesome, due to not just that potently spicy orange chutney on the left, but also that crunchy
miligai podi next to it, which incidentally they said to mix with sesame oil! That was just music to my ears. Of course, it's hard to make a comparison to those pillowy delights that one gets at
Murugan given the time it took to get these home. But nuking them quickly in the microwave perked them up a bit, and that rich millet
pongal in the bottom left certainly survived the journey very well.
