
That was a pretty good deal for just S$35 (US$26); today's meal not only included that seafood risotto above, but also a generously portioned soup and dessert, all packaged nicely with reheating instructions. It was from a former Au Petit Salut and Absinthe chef whose food I admittedly don't remember, but seem to have sampled and liked many years ago. I'd be happy to give his other daily sets a try...or more likely, I'll just go to his restaurant (18 Gemmill Lane, 6557-2224) once everything opens back up again, as it looks like he also does some reasonably priced omakase meals too.
