It turns out that
Keisuke's new yakiniku place is right down the street from this
bánh mì shop that I've been wanting to try for ages (543 Geylang Road, 6909-8340). So I hopped on over afterwards for some closing carbs. The bread was huge, but crispy and airy. And the chili was impressively spicy. The coffee was pre-brewed, but I didn't mind as it was fast and dirt cheap. Yeah, I'll come back here again.

Order the beef version, and ask them to replace the lettuce and tomato with the pickled vege. And top up $1 for more beef.
