La Mian Mini Steam Bun at Lau Pa Sat

Lanzhou Beef La Mian

Yipee, another Lanzhou qingzhen beef noodle shop has opened! This one is from a stall at Lau Pa Sat, half of which is still under renovation so I don't even have a stall number to provide. But the signboard simply says "La Mian Mini Steam Bun," and this is bowl was at the top of the menu.

Yes, I liked it, not only because the chili oil was on point, but also since the broth was crisp and salty. They were generous with the scallions, and the noodles were nice and chewy, even if they don't ask you what shape you wanted. The only letdown was the lean beef, but I still crushed this bowl with ease.
