The Beard Papa folks brought in this chain from Osaka (68 Orchard Road #B2-32, 6898-0390). As the name suggests, these buns were coated in a crispy panko, and were still crispy despite being lukewarm after sitting there in the display case. The beef curry filling that I had was mild but still edgy, and the freshly cracked black pepper on top kept it fun too. I don't remember Pullman's version well enough to make a proper comparison, but I seem to have a better impression from these guys.
