Here's the beef noodle soup from My Elephant Thai. The broth is a bit sweet, although that shouldn't be too surprising (think: boat noodles). More importantly, I liked the noodles in here, which were thinner and firmer than your usual kway teow; presumably these are the same noodles that they use in their pad thai. I definitely prefer Thaksin Beef Noodle over this, but I was happy to eat this too.
