Time for some
conservas. I can't remember which store I bought this from (
addendum: looks like it was Isetan), but they were little garfish from Portugal, whose firm flesh had a pronounced mackerel-like taste. No, the "hot olive oil" wasn't spicy, even though you could detect a bit of the single chili pepper included in the can. I gobbled it all down with bread, radishes, and one of the negronis that I had saved
from yesterday.
