I tried the 'Shroom Burger at
Shake Shack today, and it was delicious. To be clear, it wasn't a sliced mushroom topping on the patty, but rather a deep-fried portobello mushroom that took the place of the patty (i.e., it's vegetarian). It was light and crispy and also rich and tasty thanks to the gooey melted cheese in there. Yes, I liked it enough to get again, although maybe next time I'll get the best of both worlds via the Shack Stack, which combines this with
their beef patty.
