Tryptophobes are probably cringing at that photo above, but it was just a harmless (and admittedly tasteless) slice of torched squid from
Sushiro's new menu. In the background is their chicken rice
nigiri, which was really just a slice of chicken breast with a some minced ginger on top. The rice was sushi rice rather than the savory grains that come with
chicken rice, but at least the meat wasn't dry. No, neither of them are things that will draw me back here, but it's fun to see what kind of new items
rotate through their menu.
