Osaka's Gram Cafe & Pancakes at VivoCity, Singapore

Premium Pancakes

If that looks like it's about to topple over, that's because it was. That didn't matter though; I was more surprised that we could get seated quickly today, and even order their "premium" pancakes in advance (1 Harbourfront Walk #02-110, 8666-6277).

See, this pancake shop from Osaka does thin versions too. But they only offer that fluffy premium one above at three intervals per day, with only thirty servings available each time. As a result, people line up here during each of those slots to snag one of these coveted plates. Somehow, we were able to be seated about half an hour before one of those time slots, and they even let us order a premium plate in advance, even if it still took at least twenty minutes to come out.

Sure, it was good. Or at least, it was very unique, with not just its fluffiness but also its richness and a flour-y taste (in a good way). Granted, I only ate one bite so as to avoid all of the unnecessary carbs and sugar, but I'm glad to have tried it.
