Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens Liberty Station

The Burger

I had a bit of time before my flight out of San Diego this afternoon, so I hopped over to Liberty Public Market for a bite. It turned out that local brewer Stone Brewing had a brewpub there (816 Historic Decatur Road, 619-269-2100). I grabbed their burger, which featured grass-fed dry-aged beef from a Californian ranch called Belcampo. It's too bad that the patty was overcooked and also covered up by all of the sauce and pickles, but there were some decent flavors going on in the beef when I pulled a piece out and ate it on its own. I was also happy with the flight of beers that they brewed on-site.
