The team decided on this chain of soondae restaurants in Seoul tonight. The main focus was a local sausage, which had an impressively firm casing surrounding blood pudding. But there were also a bazillion other things at our table, the most impressive of which was a pig face soup with lots of tender and fatty bits in a refreshingly savory soup. We also had a bright red platter of tteokbokki that featured some of the sausage too, after which they threw rice on the pan to make a Korean paella of sorts. It worked for me.
