Yujian Tudou "Meet Potato" in Chengdu, China
No, I didn't really have room in my stomach for these fried potatoes. But I've been indoors all day today and only have a few minutes to explore the surrounding neighborhood. And I found this random stall selling local Sichuan snacks at Tianfu Square, and I figured that I'd give it a try, even if I couldn't finish it.
It turned out to be a little sweet and sour, and unfortunately not very spicy, which was a letdown. But somehow that tangy mixture grew on me to the point where I basically had to stop myself from eating it, lest I go on to finish the entire bowl. I still won't get cravings for it though.
