Hototogisu has opened
another outlet in Singapore, this time on the former grounds of
Ginza Kushi Katsu (290 Orchard Road #B1-47, 6262-1304). They had two exclusive bowls here, one of which used littleneck
asari clams. It sounded like it would be a bit too close to the
original hamaguri (even if it was more focused on ginger and ham), so I went for this Japanese blue
crab-based one instead. It was of good quality, but had a bit too much going on, like those lemon slices. I won't be rushing to come back here as a result, even if I am kinda curious about that clam one.
