Pho Spot in San Jose, California

Phở

Not to be confused with Pho Stop, this place was en route to our destination tonight (1769 Blossom Hill Road, 408-402-5799). Everything was fresh and the service was friendly, but the broth wasn't anything to get too excited about. It'll do the job though if one can't get out to East San Jose for something better, especially since they made their bún chả tender and smoky.

I had Bun Cha at a place called Pho Co in the Vietnam Town shopping center. It was good but a little too salty & sour to finish it. I'm not exactly sure if you're even supposed to finish the "broth". The noodles were also a little skimpy on the portion size but still worth a try, IMO. They also had a beef ribs appetizer that we did not get to try but it's pretty popular. Don't bother with the crab roll though. It was a little burnt when we got it. Their pho broth is pretty good.
