Once again I needed food before going back to the hotel, and this old school diner was along the way (1500 Curtis Street, 303-534-1927). There was a Mexican section on the menu, with items like that chile relleno plate above featuring their "Kickin' Pork Green Chili." Could this diner perhaps finally be the answer to my quest for Colorado green chile? Nope. I mean, it was still the grease bomb that I wanted, and it was very comforting to have a vanilla milkshake to help coat the inside of my belly. But seriously, I wouldn't have even noticed any green chile on this thing had the menu not mentioned it. Oh well.
