I was perusing the produce section at Little Farms this morning when this caught my eye. Wow, those thin-stalked things are asparagus? They looked so good that I had to bring some home to try. And yes, they were much more delicate in both texture and taste, and were a nice change given how sometimes the big ones can have some pretty tough parts if you don't break them off in the right spot. Now, having looked it up just now, it seems that this "wild asparagus" or "Prussian asparagus" is technically a different species from your usual asparagus. And interestingly, it didn't really provide much asparagus pee either.
