Gyu-Kaku's Jinan-Bou in Taipei, Taiwan

I needed a quick bite before going to my next meeting and Taipei 101 was on the way. So I went down to the food court for a quick skim of the stalls. Naturally, these gigantic beef bowls caught my eye...until I realized that they are actually run by Gyu-Kaku (ugh!). As was typical of Gyu-Kaku, this bowl was rather sweet. But I didn't mind it so much this time, in part because they grilled it so nicely with a good aroma (it reminded me a bit of Ichizen-ya, despite the sweetness). Anyway, this was just fuel for the rest of the afternoon.
