I normally don't eat much laksa, mainly because the strong taste of the leaf. But this Bib Gourmand place (120 Bukit Merah Lane 1 #01-75) was darned delicious, in part because the leaf wasn't overpowering, but more importantly, because of the silky smooth coconut taste and fresh ingredients. I liked it so much that I nearly went back for a second bowl before realizing that that would be too much coconut milk in one day. Next time I have to remember to get the large size and have them add extra noodles and cockles. Good call, Michelin. That was Southeast Asia in a bowl.
