Shinamori Shabu Shabu in Taipei, Taiwan

Mutton Shabu Shabu

The name of this place may sound Japanese, but it was very Taiwanese...at least, based upon the huge tub of sha cha sauce for you to use. Anyway, I came here out of sheer convenience, as the thought of some local hot pot sounded pretty good tonight, and this was the first place that I saw (6-2 Xin Yang Street, 2312-2909). And yeah, it did the job. He upsold me to a higher quality cut of lamb, but in the end it was still only NT$280 (US$9). What a bargain.
