A karaage stall has opened up at Maxwell Food Centre (1 Kadayanallur Street #01-02). It was better than I thought it would be, as it was surprisingly tender. But the batter was a tad heavy, making it a bit more like American fried chicken. Also, they didn't fry to order, so there's a chance that you would get one that was left sitting around on the rack. The best karaage in town is still by far at Rang Mang Shokudo, especially given how juicy and tasty it is. Keisuke's TORITAKE works too as they also fry to order with a lighter batter, but the cuts of meat aren't as good.
