This (45 Flinders Lane, 9650-1445) was another one of those many downtown restaurants that I wanted to try for
dinner last night. Fortunately, they were open for breakfast. And not just any breakfast, but this mushroom and black barley dish with a "65/65" egg inside, meaning that it cooked for 65 degrees at 65 minutes. It was a tad sour (reminiscent of my experiences with
Québécois cuisine), but I still gobbled it up. More importantly, it was just the attitude I wanted in a restaurant, and exactly one that I'd love to come back to if I'm ever in town again.
