I don't often fly on
United's domestic flights longer than 3.5 hours. But today I did, and on such flights they have their Bistro on Board meals available for purchase, featuring items that they claim to be inspired by farm to table chalkboard menus, including pasta, sandwiches, and that "artisan cheese selection" above (fortunately 1K members get comped their choice of meal and booze). It even came with a little package of French honey and a Godiva crème brûlée truffle. It sure beats the tired choice of "chicken or fish."
