The
United Club at Hong Kong Airport was closed today for some reason, and passengers were redirected to the Plaza Premium lounge instead. To my surprise, they had little hawker-style stands set up in the lounge where they cooked things to order, like that "Hong Kong-style Fish Ball Noodle Soup" and
chee cheong fun above. Of course, none of it was anything to go out of one's way for, but it was nice to get a break from the usual spread at United.
