I have no idea if this is really a local Hong Kong dish or not; they called it "Spicy Minced Beef Eggplant and Pan-Fried Egg Served with Steamed Rice." But I was back at the
Plaza Premium Lounge and they had it available, so I grabbed a bowl to try it out.
It was a lot better than I thought it would be. Indeed, I liked it so much that I went right back for a second bowl. To be sure, I laced it with both chili oil and fresh cut chili peppers, making it taste a bit like
mapo tofu. I'm sitting on the fence right now on whether I should go get a third bowl.
