Actually, this might have been the exact same meal as
last time, but I was happy to eat it, even if some of the starters were less impressive this time. Besides, I'm not going to get much of a chance to fly through Narita after United starts its nonstop flights to San Francisco anyway, so I might as well get this while I can.
In the spirit of that, I also grabbed a bowl of
ramen from the
ANA Lounge before getting on the plane, just like last time. Actually, this time they served a
shouyu rather than
tonkotsu broth, but it was still good enough to wolf down in minutes, especially with some of that potent Japanese black pepper.
