I'm not the best person to give an opinion about French food, but I was pretty happy with the
pot-au-feu that I had here today (76 Duxton Road , 6220-3822), as it featured deliciously tender and tasty cuts of beef all in a light refreshing broth. Indeed, the kitchen really seemed to take care in its cuisine...so much that I happily ate a salad garnished with walnuts, beets, and pumpkin, which are three things that I usually try to avoid. Granted, I'd still much rather go to that awesome
Brasserie Gavroche instead, but this place may be worth a return visit someday, especially for a bottle of their wine together with dinner.
