I had just enough time to pop out of meetings for a quick lunch today, so I came over to this food truck serving Peruvian food (611 Trinity Street, 529-4444). Rather than going for a
lomo saltado, I went for some smaller plates that he had, including some tender
anticuchos beef hearts on a stick, but also that
salchipapa above, which was literally what it looked like: fries with cut-up sausage and some mildly spicy sauce. Apparently this is a comfort dish for Peruvians, but the thing that did it for me was the nice touch of cilantro.
