I've never been a fan of NamNam. But somehow the thought of a cơm tấm spinoff next door sounded kind of interesting (252 North Bridge Road #B1-46, 6334-7377), and I made a quick stop here tonight.
As you can see though, I went for a soup version instead. It was kinda like a bowl of Teochew mue, and I finished it all, despite it having bits of the same green leaf that was such a turnoff for me at NamNam.
Yes, maybe it was just because my expectations were very low, but I'll come back to try the dry version one day. The ingredients here were respectable enough that I suspect that I might eventually like it.
