OK...not quite Uruguay. The dish is the national dish of Uruguay, but I got it here at Smoke Shack in Singapore (2 Amoy Street #01-01, 6557-2214). It tasted fine, but I've never been to Uruguay, so I have no idea how authentic this version was. I only got it because I needed a quick meal nearby and they said that this Montevideo sandwich was one of their most popular items.
