A colleague just brought these beer-flavored jelly beans back from the US, and you guessed it...they tasted like beer. I generally didn't mind it while chewing on it, but there was a bit of a lingering aftertaste. You know how when you go to a pub in the daytime, you can usually smell a hint of warm beer splattered about the countertop? That was the aftertaste, and they really packed it into this weird-flavored candy. Fortunately there were some breath mints nearby to help offset it.
