I was at Millenia Walk today and needed food quickly when I noticed that this place had lunch deals starting at S$10 (US$7.45), so I figured I might as well give it a try (9 Raffles Boulevard #02-08, 6341-9668). It's actually a two-part restaurant with the front half being a colorfully decorated casual bar and the back half (presumably - I didn't go in) being a more dressed-up robatayaki. I stayed in the front, and was happy with the food, as they took quite a bit of care in it. The tsukune had cuts of nankotsu in it for some playful texture, while the rice was firm and pearly, and even the miso soup had a bit of smokiness to it. I'm curious now to know what the place inside is like.
