Tempura Kohaku at Suntec's Eat at Seven in Singapore
What's up with all of the tendon places showing up lately? This one opened up at Suntec's Eat at Seven, with quite a bit of sesame oil aroma pervading the air (3 Temasek Boulevard #03-311, 6333-4386).
Fortunately, it didn't stick too much to your clothes, unlike at Keisuke's tendon shop. The food was actually rather similar to Keisuke's, with thick batter that turned slightly soggy thanks to the sauce. But I didn't feel as gross afterwards like I do at Keisuke's.
Oh, if you're wondering why there is a plate inverted behind that bowl, it's actually a lid that they delivered with it. One is supposed to remove it and use it to hold pieces of tempura.
