This place has an odd name. On one hand, it is almost as if they were trying to sound French. On the other hand, they are missing a letter if they are trying to spell the Pinyin for the word "beef." Either way, I was running an errand near Bugis Junction today, so I grabbed a bowl of beef noodle to try.
To my surprise, I liked it. It wasn't anywhere as good as Chingzhen in Taipei, but the spicy version of the broth was still earthy enough to be enjoyable. It turned out that these guys were created by the Paradise Group; my impression of them seems to keep getting better and better.
