We noticed these guys last night at the Soon Soon Huat Eating House (3 Seng Poh Road, 6222-5434) and figured that we'd come here in the morning for breakfast, especially upon seeing that their business hours were 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM. I generally liked it, as the broth was rather well-polished, and the gentle proprietor was friendly. But alas, being well-polished also meant that it was milder in taste, so my preference is still for either Ya Hua further down the road or Founder up on Balestier, both of whom are a bit more edgy in peppper and garlic.
