Shrimp and Grits for Breakfast in Atlanta

Shrimp and Grits

When in the South, eat more Southern food, right? So what better than to get a bowl of shrimp and grits for a rather unique experience? This was not too much unlike a bowl of rice porridge from back in Asia, although of course with grits instead. This bowl was particularly tasty thanks to the extra grease (presumably from the cuts of sausage?) that oozed out on top of the grits. Nice one.

Been 7 years since I've returned to Singapore and about that long since my last bowl of grits. Thanks for bringing back fond memories.
