They should've just called that cucumber bread rather than avocado toast, as there was more cucumber adorning that thing than avocado, and all on limp bread. To make it worse, the olives and cheese made it way too salty, while an excessive amount of citrus also made it sour. I still have yet to find one that beats
Wolfgang Puck's version.
What's interesting is this is actually a
Michael Mina restaurant. That was what pulled me in here, especially given the way that the Bloody Mary was described with organic heirloom tomatoes, grated horseradish, jalapeno, and cilantro, among other ingredients. But they also added honey, which rounded it out but made it more sweet than spicy.
