The team selected Il Fornaio for a business meal tonight, which I wasn't terribly excited about given that
I've never liked this local West Coast chain. Still, the venue suited our needs, and at least the
branzino above was edible enough with its lemon caper butter sauce. I suspect that the rest of the menu might be better than I am making it out to be, but the commercialized vibe is such a turnoff that I don't have the interest to find out either.
