Raffles Hotel is doing a thing where the Makansutra folks line up hawkers from around the region to serve food in their courtyard, and right now it's a nice lady from Huế doing these crispy rice flour pancakes topped with various proteins. It smelled great when she grilled them, and they were delicious with some fish sauce and herbs. They were kinda like supersized bánh khọt with a thinner crispy pancake. I'm eager to see which hawkers come in next month, even if they are charging Raffles Hotel prices.
