I hopped over to the market during daytime operating hours today, when the deli staff was present and able to build me a poke bowl on the spot. The rice was warm and clumpy, but he piled the fresh Hawaiian ahi up high along with my toppings.
There was a shave ice store down the way, so I grabbed one of their configurations featuring not just passionfruit and açai, but also frozen yogurt inside, as well as mochi and lychee-flavored boba topping. It might not be obvious from the overhead photo, but it was a big mound of ice about the size of a grapefruit.
