I made it back to
Nakiryu today, this time getting his hot & sour soup version. Knowing that this guy was heavily influenced by his time spent in China, I figured that the broth would be thick. So it was to my surprise that it was thin like a tom yum broth, even though it still tasted like the
Chinese version. Don't get me wrong; I liked it enough to clear the bowl with ease. But his
tantanmen is better. Actually, looking at this bowl just made me think of
Bingiri, which I really miss.
