There is a raw bar not far from my hotel in
Boston, so I hopped over for some local seafood (279 Dartmouth Street, 617-267-0691). That chowder above was a great start, as it was clear from things like the fingerling potatoes and
fried clams that this was not that mass produced stuff that one usually gets. A snow crab toast with avocado and stracciatella was refreshing too, if mild. The thing that will draw me back here is the huuuuge list of
conservas available. I didn't have the stomach space for any today, but it's good to know that they have locations in
LA and
London too.
