Awadh is doing S$25 (US$19) Punjabi thails for their two year birthday, and I'll confess that I was drawn here in large part because they claimed that the usual price for these things was a whopping S$55 (US$41). I have no idea what justified that S$55 price tag or if I was just a fool, but I liked the quality of everything that was served. This also turned out to be such an energy-dense meal from all of the rich gravies, sugary sweets, and buttery roti that I couldn't finish, leaving a third of it uneaten. The last day for this special is this coming Thursday.
