Cafe Morozoff is a chain of pastry shops
from Kobe. We finally decided to give it a try after noticing some decently-priced set meals that they were promoting, like this baked half-lobster with a mozzarella white sauce on penne for just S$19.50 (US$14.70) inclusive of a mini cheesecake and drink. It was easy to eat, but you get what you pay for: the lobster was rather dry, and even the cheesecake was forgettable. A chicken and mushroom cream pasta that we got wasn't anything to get excited about either. The only thing that I did like was something that I had to order a la carte: a
kamadashi edam cheese tart that was both rich and savory. I'd probably focus on that if I ever go back.
