I’m normally not a big fan of konnyaku. But these spicy konjac strips from China were kinda interesting. Packaged in an easy-to-open pouch, they could effectively be squeezed directly into one’s mouth without any utensils needed. The texture was firmer than konnyaku, and instead almost tofu skin (or perhaps more accurately, jellyfish)-like. That probably doesn’t sound very appealing, but I still ate these things. It's honestly more about the salt, spice, and grease than anything else.
